Service Upgrade: AI Server Rack Crate Prototypes Ready in "One Day"

This year, a rapid succession of new AI server models has driven a sharp rise in customer demand for server rack crate prototypes and demos. Every model revision needs a new prototype crate to validate bracing, shock absorption and assembly sequence, and prototyping speed directly affects development and shipping schedules for data center equipment.

As part of our service upgrade, LIU HE has brought a multi-function CNC machining centre into operation in-house. Whether we build OEM crates to the customer's drawings and packaging specifications or create the 3D crate design from scratch, cutting, drilling and milling are completed on site once drawings are approved. From approved drawings to a fully assembled prototype server crate takes just one day.

Faster validation for new models: AI server crate prototypes are ready the same day, so several rounds of revision can be completed within a single week, finalising server export packaging sooner.

More flexible OEM crating: for customers with existing packaging drawings, LIU HE first checks dimensions, interference and assembly sequence in 3D, then moves straight to machining. Prototypes and production runs follow the same drawings, keeping OEM server crates consistent from sample to shipment.

One site, end to end: from 3D design and machining to assembly, everything is completed within LIU HE's own facility, for more direct communication and centrally controlled handling of customer information.
